YOUR FITTING, EXPLAINED

More than a prescription. A fit for real life.

  • A conversation about your goals, routine and previous lens experience.
  • Assessment of lens suitability and the measurements needed for fit.
  • Guidance on lens options appropriate to your needs.
  • Insertion, removal, cleaning and wear guidance where required.
  • A follow-up plan to review comfort, vision and fit.

FIRST-TIME WEARERS

New to contact lenses? We’ll take it step by step.

It is normal to have questions about comfort, handling and care. Your fitting gives you space to practise and understand the routine before you leave.

EXISTING WEARERS

Comfort changed? Your needs may have changed too.

If your lenses feel dry, inconsistent or difficult to wear, bring the packaging or details of the lenses you use. We can discuss what has changed and whether a review is appropriate.

SAFE, CONFIDENT LENS WEAR

Professional guidance matters.

Contact lenses are medical devices and should be fitted and reviewed professionally. Do not wear lenses longer than advised, sleep in them unless specifically prescribed for that use, or continue wearing them when an eye is painful, red or unusually sensitive to light.

Do I need an eye exam first?

The team will confirm whether your prescription and eye-health information are current enough for the fitting.

Can I buy lenses without a fitting?

Safe lens wear depends on suitability, prescription and fit. The optometrist will advise what is appropriate.

Should I wear my current lenses to the appointment?

Ask the branch when booking, because preparation may depend on the purpose of the visit.
